SHOE STUDS
The iGrip stud is installed directly into the sole of your boot or shoe and is compatible with any type of sole. The stud is integrated into the shoe, making it very secure. We also have anti-spark studs available.
RECOMMENDED STUD MODELS
iGrip studs from the SS, XT, and ST ranges are designed to improve grip and safety on icy, snowy, or slippery surfaces. The XT model is designed to provide superior anchoring in rubber soles thanks to its deep thread design. Stud selection depends on the type of sole: rubber, felt, or polyurethane. Certain SF models are also available for specific non-sparking applications.
STUD INSTALLATION
1. Identify your sole type: Check whether your sole is made of rubber, felt, or polyurethane to select compatible studs.
2. Choose the right model: For rubber or felt soles, the SS, XT, and ST models are recommended. For polyurethane soles, the XT model is the preferred choice. Install the studs in the ground-contact areas, spacing them evenly to improve grip and stability.
