iGrip studs are designed to improve snowmobile track traction on snow and ice. Several models are available depending on track type, width, profile, and whether pre-drilled holes are present. SS models feature a more aggressive tip, while ST models offer a standard configuration. The choice depends on the snowmobile model and the track specifications.
STUD INSTALLATION
1. Check: Identify the track type, width, and profile to select a compatible stud model. Also check whether the track already has pre-drilled holes.
2. Pre-drill and install: If necessary, pre-drill the holes using a 3/32-inch drill bit, following the installation pattern appropriate for your track. Then screw in the studs using the appropriate installation tool. To make installation easier, use dish soap or a non-petroleum-based lubricant. Ensure that the studs are securely fastened and do not protrude in areas where they are not intended to.
